Indo German Exchange Programme
The programme is a great learning experience for our students, fostering cultural exchange and mutual learning between students and educators from Kolkata, India, and our esteemed partner schools, Gesamtschule Ückendorf and Ricarda Huch Gymnasium in Germany.

The 6-day CAS trip to Auroville in Puducherry marked a transformative experience for Grade 11 students enrolled in the IBDP curriculum at Modern High School International. This excursion was designed to integrate creativity, activity, and service into their learning journey.

French Artist Workshop
As part of the Novembre Numérique Festival, in collaboration with Alliance Francaise du Bengale, Modern High School welcomed a French artist Aurélien Jeannet, a specialist in the field of augmented reality. He conducted a workshop on Modulo Art for the students.

Indo German Exchange Programme
20 students from MHS visited Gelsenkirchen in Germany on an Indo German Exchange Programme. The group reached on 28th October and were hosted by our partner schools (Gesamtschule Ückendorf and Ricarda Huch Gymnasium) till 11th November.

The Skylab society and physics students of MHSI visited the UEM Space Observatory and explored the terrestrial telescope, its functionalities and gathered information about the cosmos.
Tree Planting Ceremony
Initiated by Rabindranath Tagore on July 14, 1928, the Brikhoropon Utsav tradition of sapling planting in Shantiniketan pays homage to the poet's vision for a greener planet. At MHSI, we honor this legacy, fostering environmental harmony as we continue this profound tradition.
Experimenters Gallery Visit
The Visual Arts students visited Experimenters on 12th September to view the exhibition, 'In Between The Notes'. This exhibition was built on sonic experiences and aural memories.

ShowCASe 2023
MHSI presented ShowCASe, our first ever offline fest, celebrating the theme of Integration and Inclusivity. Focusing on the philosophy of CAS (Creativity, Action and Service), one of the core components of IBDP, the fest enabled students from various schools to participate.
PASCH Scholarship to Germany
3 weeks in the Black Forest region in Southern Germany with 97 German language learners from 19 countries across 3 continents, paved the way for a multi-cultural learning experience for the 2 students from MHSI who were awarded a scholarship to participate in this PASCH camp.
