Sports Day at Modern High School International
Modern High School International proudly celebrated its inaugural Sports Day on February 5, 2024, marking a historic milestone in our school’s legacy. The day unfolded as a symphony of athleticism, camaraderie, and spirited competition, leaving an indelible impression on the entire school community.
Graced by a distinguished chief guest, the event commenced with an eloquent speech from our esteemed Principal, setting the stage for a day of fervent sportsmanship. The sprawling grounds witnessed a series of exhilarating races, including the 100 meters for both boys and girls from Divisions A and B, relay races, obstacle courses, and the thrilling hockey race.
In addition to the track and field events, the accolades extended to off-field competitions held earlier, such as Javelin throw, Discus throw, Shot put throw, and more. Medals and certificates were bestowed upon the worthy victors, recognizing their exceptional prowess and dedication to athletic excellence.
The spirit of healthy competition reached its zenith with tug-of-war contests, fostering bonds between students and igniting friendly rivalries. Two spirited battles ensued—one pitting student against student, and another showcasing the resilience of students facing off against their teachers.
Beyond the laurels and victories, the day resonated with the essence of joy, learning, and community spirit. Every participant, whether on the podium or cheering from the sidelines, contributed to the collective success of our first-ever Sports Day.
