Sci-Spire: Inter-House Science Fest

Sci-Spire, the Inter-House Science Fest, brought together 16 teams to develop innovative solutions for the East Kolkata Wetlands and sustainable cities, fostering creativity, collaboration and scientific thinking.

Sunderbans Pasch Camp

MHSI students excelling in *Fit in Deutsch 1* attended a Goethe-Institut PASCH Camp in the Sundarbans, enhancing German proficiency while exploring biodiversity, sustainability and environmental conservation through immersive learning.

Shutterbugs Visit to Patuapara

Students visited Patuapara to photograph Durga idols, document traditional craftsmanship, and interview artisans, gaining insight into Bengal’s rich cultural heritage and idol-making traditions.

Design thinking workshop

In preparation for Sci Spire, students attended a Design Thinking workshop by Ms. Ghatak, exploring real-world problems and developing practical, innovative solutions through prototyping and refinement.

PASCH Jugendkurs

Our students participated in the PASCH Jugendkurs, an enriching German language programme that offered an immersive learning experience while fostering intercultural understanding, global connections, and enthusiasm for German language and culture.

Cartoon Workshop

Grade 6 students joyfully explored cartoon and comic creation in an engaging workshop by Mr. Harsho Mohan Chattoraj, developing creativity, storytelling skills, and imaginative expression through art.

Changemakers: A Friendly Football Match

Grade 8 students connected with the local community through a friendly football match at Maitree Sangha, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, service, friendship and meaningful community engagement.

Conceptual Learning Workshop

MHSI faculty participated in a professional development workshop on Conceptual Learning, exploring inquiry, conceptual relationships, deeper understanding, and transferable learning through collaborative activities and reflection.
