Changemakers: A Friendly Football Match
As part of the Changemakers Outreach Programme, our Grade 8 boys visited Maitree Sangha Football Club, Natagachi, for a friendly football match with the local boys. The initiative provided an opportunity for students to connect with the community through sport, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship and mutual respect.
The association with Maitree Sangha also forms part of our ongoing service initiative, with IBDP CAS volunteers visiting regularly to assist the local boys with their football training.
The friendly match was played in great spirit, with the Maitree Sangha boys emerging victorious. At the end of the match, our students presented the players with sippers as a gesture of friendship and appreciation, bringing a meaningful afternoon of sport, service and community engagement to a close.
