Tree Planting Ceremony at MHSI
Tree Planting Ceremony at MHSI was a blend of education with celebration. The members of the Green Society introduced the concept and importance of tree planting. They spoke about the different tree-planting festivals in India and other countries. The cultural program started with a recitation of Rabindranath Tagore’s poem.
It was followed by a song by members of the Taal society. The cultural program concluded with a dance performance by the students. At the end of the event teachers and students received plant saplings from the “Each One Take One” corner, with the hope to instil a lasting appreciation for nature in everyone involved.
