The TAISI Sports Championship, held in Bengaluru, brought together young athletes from international schools across India, celebrating sportsmanship, skill, and determination. The event provided a platform for students to compete at a high level while fostering camaraderie and teamwork.
Tejas More (Grade 7) delivered an outstanding performance in the U13 boys’ Table Tennis category, emerging as the champion after playing three intense matches, including the finals against Vivaan Agarwal from Mayo College. His skill and strategy on the table earned him a well-deserved victory. In the U13 girls’ Lawn Tennis category, Vachi Agarwal (Grade 8) showcased exceptional talent, securing a silver medal after playing four competitive matches. She put up a strong fight in the finals against Meher Mirdas Thacharakkal from Legacy School Bangalore, demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination.
The championship was expertly organized by Harrow School, with a well-structured event, excellent sports infrastructure, and a dedicated team of volunteers ensuring its smooth execution. The experience was not just about competition but also about learning valuable lessons in perseverance, discipline, and teamwork.
