PASCH Scholarship to Germany
PASCH Scholarship to Germany
The PASCH camp, which took place in Hinterzarten, Germany spanned three weeks in the peak of the European summer in August. The two students from Modern High School International, Suhani Kothari and Akshita Poddar, who were offered full scholarships to be a part of this camp received the opportunity to study the German language, alongside 97 language learners from 19 countries, calling for a truly multicultural experience. In the camp, they were offered German lessons, alongside a range of other activities, such as hiking in the wilderness of the Black Forest, visits to the nearby city of Freiburg, lessons to learn the traditional German dance form of Waltz, baking classes, water-fights, sporting activities, campfires and much more. They developed memorable connections and friendships with people from all around the world, bonding over their experiences with the German language. At the end of the camp, both the students appeared for their B2 level exams at the Goethe Institute in Freiburg, which they passed, bringing a successful end to an unforgettable camp, that they recall through the connections, memories, and experiences that they were able to build.
