The Musical Theatre Workshop, organized by Taal and Spotlight societies, was an exciting and enriching experience for our students, providing them with a unique opportunity to explore the world of theatre and musical performance. Guided by expert workshop leaders, students learned the fundamentals of theatre vocal projection and performed songs from beloved musicals, including “If I Were a Rich Man” from Fiddler on the Roof and selections from The Sound of Music.
The session encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones, with some even taking on solo performances. While a few initially found the experience challenging, their perseverance and enthusiasm allowed them to overcome their hesitations and participate actively. The workshop fostered confidence, stage presence, and teamwork, making it a truly memorable experience for all involved.
