Goethe Institute came up with a wonderful opportunity for our senior German language students to participate in their project “Jugend gestaltet Zukunft”, which took place from 16th to 21st November 2024, in Lonavla. Suvam Gupta and Aarav Jaiswal from Grade 12 participated in this camp. They were accompanied by Ms. Asmita Chatterjee from MHSI.
Project Overview: The Jugend gestaltet Zukunft initiative not only promotes the German language and culture but also focuses on the sustainable development of children and young people. Participants will create a play town centered on the theme of “Schools of the Future.” Through this engaging, hands-on experience, they will reflect on their educational journey and envision ways to build sustainable schools.
Objectives: This project aims to: Address themes of sustainable development. Strengthen social interaction and self-assertion skills. Encourage active participation in shaping living conditions. Foster integration within diverse groups and social interaction. Enhance communication skills, promote community awareness, and develop conflict-resolution abilities.
