The Visual Arts students visited Experimenters on 12th September to view the exhibition, ‘In Between The Notes’. This exhibition was built on sonic experiences and aural memories. It presented works by Lala Rukh, Parul Thacker, Superhero Sighting Society (Taus Makhacheva & Sabih Ahmed), Biraaj Dodiya, and Samson Young, bringing together practices that either directly root themselves within sound as material, or were based on influences and aural training. The students found themselves enveloped by a whirlwind of emotions, each painting and sculpture telling a unique story. They learned about the diverse range of mediums and perspectives that an artwork can show. Overall, it was an excellent learning experience.
