On 21st February 2025, our class of 11 and 9 Business Management students embarked on an exciting factory visit to the Coca-Cola manufacturing plant at Taratala, Kolkata. The visit was an invaluable learning experience, providing us with a first hand look at the production process of one of the world’s most recognizable brands.
Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the plant’s management team, who briefed on the factory’s operations and safety protocols. They visited the production floor, where they witnessed the entire manufacturing process, from syrup preparation to bottling and packaging.
The visit highlighted the company’s commitment to quality control, efficiency, and sustainability. We observed the use of advanced technology, including automated machinery and quality control systems, which ensured the highest standards of product quality.
The students were particularly impressed by the plant’s focus on environmental sustainability, including waste reduction initiatives.
