MHSI: First Boys Football Team

The first boys football team at MHSI consists of a very enthusiastic group of boys. Their passion and dedication really showed on the field when they played their first tournament. Even though they didn’t win a game, they fought hard and got a feel for what tournaments are like. It was an experience that only made them want to work harder.

With only a little time in hand they did their best to prepare before the second tournament (Xuberance). This tournament was a new experience for the boys as they were playing in unfamiliar conditions because of the rain and state of the field. However, their commitment, hard work and effort really showed through this tournament. They played better and did everything they possibly could with the short amount of training they’ve had.

The team is eager to learn and showed improvement in only a few weeks of practice. They ask questions and try to implement everything taught to them. With a little more time in training, we should be ready for the next tournament.
