Participation in Harvard MUN
The Harvard Model United Nations (H-MUN) was a 3-day conference at Hyderabad, chaired by the students of Harvard University. The conference consisted of 1600+ delegates from 100+ schools. Five students of IBDP Year 1 participated in the United Nations Human Rights Council, United Nations Environment Program, United Nations Commission on Population Development, Syrian National Congress, and United Nations Development Program. In spite of an extremely exhausting schedule, the students felt that their participation in the H-MUN was a great learning opportunity, especially due to their interaction with the delegates from diverse cultures. Pakhi Chamaria won an honorable mention for her remarkable performance in the United Nations Commission on Population Development.
