Investiture Ceremony
The Investiture Ceremony at Modern High School International was a vibrant celebration of leadership, responsibility, and school spirit. The event commenced with a graceful invocational Indian classical dance, setting a tone of reverence and tradition. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the school leadership team, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of wisdom.
Our Principal then addressed the gathering, inspiring students to lead with integrity, vision, and empathy. The heart of the program began with the formal pinning of badges to the newly appointed society office bearers, acknowledging their dedication and service. This was followed by the investiture of the Student Council members from Grades 8 to 12, House Captains and Vice-Captains, and finally the Sports Captain, and the School Vice-President and President. Each badge served as a reminder of the trust placed in these young leaders by the school community.
The oath-taking ceremony, led by the Principal, saw the new student leaders pledge their commitment to uphold the values of the school. The solemnity of the moment transitioned into the energy of the students’ march, showcasing unity, discipline, and pride. The ceremony concluded with a group photograph, capturing the start of a new chapter for the school’s leadership team. The day was not only a recognition of roles but also a call to action for the student leaders to inspire, serve, and lead by example.
