From sore throats to convincing lobbying, Modern High School International`s delegation for the Calcutta International School Model United Nations had done and seen it all. This three day event was a showcase of every delegate’s skill. Representing a diverse range of countries and committees, our delegation displayed public speaking, research and diplomacy to its finest.
Beyond committee sessions, the conference fostered friendships, cultural exchange and leadership development. Delegates learned to think critically, speak persuasively and listen empathetically, which are skills that extend far beyond the MUN setting. It reminded us that diplomacy begins with dialogue and that even as students, we have a voice in shaping the future.
