Modern High School International celebrated its Foundation Day with Brain Rain, an exciting science fair that showcased innovation, creativity, and collaboration. The event provided a platform for students to push the boundaries of scientific exploration, working in teams to present innovative projects across different categories.
Students from Grades 6-7 engaged in hands-on STEM experiments, while Grades 8-9 explored magnetic levitation technology. The senior-most participants from Grades 11-12 ventured into the future of Space Tourism, presenting models and simulations that reimagined space exploration. Adding to the excitement, the school’s Robotech society hosted a live robotics exhibition featuring drones and Sensor Bots, allowing students to interact with cutting-edge technology.
Complementing the event, the Skylab society organized a space-themed bake sale, where planetary-inspired treats added a delicious twist to the day’s festivities. Esteemed judges, including physicist Dr. Partho Ghose and astrophysicist Dr. Alankar Dutta, evaluated the projects and shared their insights, inspiring young minds to continue their pursuit of scientific excellence.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing The Most Innovative and Best Teamwork projects. As Brain Rain came to a close, it left behind a legacy of discovery, teamwork, and a passion for learning—true reflections of MHSI’s core values.
